The Coronavirus pandemic has had a wide ranging impact in ways that could not have been predicted when the first cases of the virus emerged at the end of 2019. One such change has been the law in relation to commercial evictions for non-payment of rent.

Iona studied for both her undergraduate LLB and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. After completing her legal education in June 2020, Iona spent 9 months volunteering as a Seminar Assistant at Legal Services Agency in Glasgow and worked as a Paralegal at a small personal injury firm for a few months prior to starting her traineeship with MSHB.
Having graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an undergraduate degree in Politics & Sociology, Anna completed the accelerated LLB in 2017, and the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice in 2020, both at the University of Glasgow. Before commencing her traineeship, Anna worked as Business Development Manager for St Mocha Coffee Shop, where she aided in the opening of multiple sites across Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, most recently the development of the old Carbeth Inn, now St Mocha’s first drive thru coffee shop.
