Miller Samuel Hill Brown LLP and Syme Drummond would be delighted if you could join us at our next "Ask the Expert" employment law seminar, which is taking place at 29, Royal Exchange Square on Thursday 8th March 2018 (1230 start).

This session will focus on three distinct areas:

  1. This year’s hot topic: the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation. We will offer our top tips on the steps you should be taking to be GDPR compliant for 25th May 2018.
  2. There have been a number of interesting cases recently decided by the tribunals and courts in respect of what knowledge can be imputed to an employer when dealing with various matters (whistle-blowing; dismissal; disability status). We will discuss how diligent employers’ investigations need to be to avoid falling foul of the law in taking management decisions.
  3. Finally, we will round up all recent developments in employment law which may have an impact for and your business in the coming months.

As always, we welcome any other questions you may have on any employment law/ HR topics (which can be emailed in advance to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or asked on the day) and will do our best to answer all queries received.
