We are pleased to share the recent appointments of Chloe Crawford and Arlene Dunbar at Miller Samuel Hill Brown to key committees of the Law Society of Scotland. Chloe will serve on the Licensing Law Sub-Committee, and Arlene has been appointed to the Accredited Paralegal Committee.
Chloe Crawford, a Solicitor in our Licensing Department, has been appointed to the Law Society of Scotland's Licensing Law Sub-Committee. In this role, Chloe will actively contribute to the improvement of licensing law practices and procedures by analysing and responding to reform proposals from the Scottish Parliament, the UK Parliament, and beyond. She joins a diverse group of members, including private practice solicitors, solicitors from local authorities and lay representatives, which includes Audrey Junner, Partner and Head of our Licensing Division and a longstanding member of the Sub-Committee.
Arlene Dunbar, an Accredited Paralegal in our Licensing Department, joins the Accredited Paralegal Committee of the Law Society of Scotland. In this vital role, Arlene will help shape the future of accredited paralegals by influencing key decisions on entry standards and suitability criteria, helping shape the future landscape of the profession.
