Miller Samuel adds 3 new partners

Miller Samuel LLP is delighted to announce the addition of three new partners to the firm: Charles Brown, Deborah Carmichael and Stephen Connolly.

Charles Brown has been appointed as the Head of the firm’s Family Law Department. Charles joins the firm having held a similar role at his previous firm for 11 years, where he developed his expertise in the fields of divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, child residence and contact and relocation of children in both the UK and abroad.

Deborah Carmichael joined Miller Samuel in 2006, was promoted to Associate on 1st January 2013 and has now been assumed as a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. Deborah specialises in a wide range of litigation matters including debt recovery and insolvency and commercial and contractual disputes.

Stephen Connolly also becomes a Partner having been with the firm since 2006 and being promoted to Associate in 2009. Stephen becomes a Partner in the firm’s Employment Unit and advises clients on all areas of employment and discrimination law. He provides advice to a wide range of clients, both employers and employees. Stephen also regularly appears in the Employment Tribunal and courts, representing his clients’ interests in contentious employment law matters.

Miller Samuel’s Chairman, Michael Samuel said “I am delighted to announce that these three individuals have joined the partnership. This will strengthen the legal service that we offer our existing and valued clients and to our prospective clients”.

All appointments took effect on 9th June.
