Celebrating 40 Years

When Mervyn Miller and I opened the doors of the then named Miller Samuel & Co in the dark days of December 1973, I could not have imagined where the journey we embarked on would have taken us. The Stock Market had crashed to 145 points, the miners were on strike and the government had decreed a three day week.

The office was candlelit. Thankfully the typewriters (remember them) were manual. Survival was in doubt. We worked through it over the years and today, 40 years later, I am proud to celebrate being Chairman of Miller Samuel LLP, a modern, vibrant and progressive independent legal firm. Today I am delighted to announce that three additional partners have joined our firm. This will strengthen the legal service that we offer to our existing and valued clients and to our prospective clients. We celebrate this also with an update of our Firm logo to reflect our approach.

Finally, I wish to thank our clients, existing and new. They should know that we really appreciate their instructions. We shall strive to make sure that the next 40 years will continue the success of the last 40.
